We are pleased to announce our participation in the Third International Medical Cannabis Conference in Tel-Aviv, “CannX 2018” being held on October 15-16 at the Tel-Aviv Convention Center.
We will be hosting a seminar on Tuesday, October 16th at noon featuring our own Israel Patent Attorney and US Patent Agent, Avraham Hermon, who will share from his years of experience in the field, and lead a presentation and panel entitled “Medical Cannabis Intellectual Property — How to Patent a 3,000 Year Old Drug.” Our three distinguished panelists, leading experts in the field, will focus on the various issues and challenges facing the Medical Cannabis Industry today. Our panelists will be Dr. William Levine of Izun Pharma, Iris Bincovitch of Innocan Pharma and Dr. Ounallah-Saad of CannAssure Ltd.
Our seminar will focus on how Intellectual Property relates to the Medical Cannabis industry. We will address the various types of IP and how they can be used by companies in the Medical Cannabis field. We will also examine trends in Cannabis R&D, as seen through trends in Medical Cannabis IP. Challenges to the registration of IP rights in Medical Cannabis will also be highlighted.
